The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority has been tasked with managing federal funds being used to assist the territory in recovering from the damage done by Hurricanes Irma and María. These funds come from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Disaster Recovery programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Housing Finance Authority is committed to efficiently and effectively addressing the long-term needs of USVI’s hurricane-impacted residents and communities through programs designed to help homeowners, tenants, landlords, developers and local governments.

EnVIsion Tomorrow Recovery Centers Temporarily Closed to the Public
EnVIsion Tomorrow’s goal is to ensure the safety of all our applicants and staff. In light of the Coronavirus outbreak, we will close all
recovery centers to the public. EnVIsion Tomorrow will continue to serve applicants online and by phone and you may submit documents electronically or by a scheduled appointment only.

Governor Announces Local Contractors for EnVIsion Tomorrow Program
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS–– In a joint press conference at Government House, Governor Albert Bryan Jr, Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR) Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien and Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) Executive Director Daryl Griffith announced the selection of 29 local general contractors who will be part of the Envision Tomorrow Homeowner and Rental Reconstruction and Rehabilitation program, which is designed to assist homeowners and landlords whose properties were damaged by the hurricanes Irma and María in 2017.

VIHFA Chooses Armand Corporation to Provide Construction Management Services
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS–– After a rigorous selection process, the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) has chosen Armand Corporation to provide Construction Management services for Envision Tomorrow Homeowner and Rental Reconstruction and Rehabilitation program in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
