This program is administered by the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) and funded through Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) made possible by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
This program is intended to serve qualified Virgin Island homeowners with unmet housing damage needs resulting from Hurricanes Irma and María.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Citizenship/VI Permanent Residency
Proof of Homeownership and Primary Residency
Low-to-Moderate Income and/or Urgent Need
Damage Directly Attributable to Hurricanes Irma and María
